Google Alerts are updates of "the latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on your choice of query or topic" sent directly to your email.And, if you are not an email junkie, then your Google Alerts may also be delivered via RSS feed to the feedreader of your choice.
Six versions of alerts are offered including news, web, blogs, comprehensive, video and groups. Full details of the service can be found on the FAQ page.
