Twitter Gadget to the Rescue

With the unfortunate, recent, demise of BeTwitter, I had to look for a suitable replacement for my iGoogle page. Enter TwitterGadget!

TwitterGadget is proving to be an excellent replacement. It lets you do everything, twitter related, all in the one place and I do mean everything!!! Just have a look at the video below.

Sorry to see you go BeTwittered, you served me well. Long live TwitterGadget :-)

Apture includes a Twitter Viewer

Apture, reviewed earlier, just keeps getting better and better and now includes a new Twitter Viewer that lets you embed the whole Twitter experience right on your website next to relevant content. 

Visitors to your site can view live Twitter streams without having to leave the page - pdonaghy's twitter. This also includes Twitter search results - mathematics search.

In fact, from within the Twitter Viewer, you can also view any multimedia content that people are twittering about - without leaving your page!

Twittersheep produces a nice 'wordle' type tag cloud from the "bios of your twitter flock".

Neat little application.

Twitter Alerts via Email

TweetBeep is like Google Alerts but for Twitter. You don't even have to have a Twitter account in order to keep up with conversations that inlcude your chosen search term! 

Simply enter "a keyword or website, and get emails when others tweet it!"



Just came across Twilert, which is another site that does exaxtly the same thing letting you "tap into the conversation and get a snapshot for what is being said in an easy and convenient way".
