The
World Digital Library will "
make available on the Internet, free of charge and in multilingual format, significant primary materials from cultures around the world, including manuscripts, maps, rare books, musical scores, recordings, films, prints, photographs, architectural drawings, and other significant cultural materials".
Content should be available on the
World Digital Library site from late 2008 (or early 2009) according to a report from the
Washington Post. This promises to be a great educational resource. Thanks for the head's up
Zaid!
