Worldmapper is a collection of world maps, "where territories are re-sized on each map according to the subject of interest".
There are around 600 maps to choose from with the first 366 also available as PDF posters. These maps and data files "cover 200 territories, mainly United Nation Member States plus a few others to include at least 99.95% of the world's population" and provide some facinating information.
There are around 30 different categories available such as population, education, health, resources, religion, poverty etc.
Worldmapper provides many interesting facts, figures and visuals to work with, which could be used in various different subject areas.
